This presentation explores the emerging trends associated with Generation Alpha. We will discuss some managerial strategies needed to engage and motivate this generation, from leveraging technology to fostering an inclusive and innovative workplace culture. Attendees will gain insights into how to prepare for the future workforce, ensuring that their management practices are aligned with the needs and aspirations of Generation Alpha.

Speaker Profile:

Dr. Caryn Stanley is a certified Professional in Human Resources and has been an instructor at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville for 16 years. She is an Associate Professor of Management and is the Assistant Director of the School of Business. She teaches courses in organizational change, human resource management, team dynamics, strategic thinking, and quality management both on campus and online. Stanley regularly speaks and publishes on topics including generational differences, organizational change, and stakeholder engagement and provides a variety of other consulting and training services. Her research focuses on the interactions among the variables of generational membership, planned organizational change, and employee loyalty.

Corey Taubr

Corey Taubr is a freshman UW-Platteville Accounting student originally from the south side of Chicago. Corey represents UW-Platteville as a member of the football team (Go Pioneers!). He was awarded the New Freshman Undergraduate Research, Scholarly and Creative Activities Scholarship. This scholarship partnered him with faculty (Dr. Caryn Stanley) to begin his undergraduate research endeavors. Corey is deeply committed to personal growth and strives to become the best version of himself. In his free time, he values spending quality time with loved ones, particularly his two dogs.
