Human Resources / Business Scholarships
The Tri County Human Resource Association is sponsoring two $1000 college scholarships.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a University of Wisconsin - Platteville student, Junior/3rd Year or greater standing and Major in Business. Scholarship preference given to student with Human Resources emphasis.
- One scholarship will be awarded to a Graduating Senior from Lafayette, Grant, or Iowa Counties. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarship preference given to student intending to major in Business Administration (HR Focus).

UWP Scholarship
The $1000 college scholarship will be awarded to a University of Wisconsin - Platteville student, Junior/3rd Year or greater standing and Major in Business. Scholarship preference given to student with Human Resources emphasis.
UWP Scholarship Application Packets must include:
- 2025 UWP Scholarship application form
- Transcript (official or unofficial) of college grades
- References (2 letters of recommendation)
- Essay: Please state on a separate sheet of paper why you chose to go into the Human Resource/Business field, what you intend to do once you have received your degree, and how you think this scholarship will help you achieve this goal.
- Résumé
An interview may be required based on the number of applicants
High School Graduate Scholarship
The $1000 college scholarship will be awarded to a Graduating Senior from Lafayette, Grant, or Iowa Counties. Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Scholarship preference given to student intending to major in Business Administration (HR Focus).
High School Scholarship Application Packets must include:
- 2025 HS Scholarship application form
- Letter of Acceptance from college/school
- References (1 letter of recommendation)
- Essay: Please state on a separate sheet of paper why you are applying for the scholarship, listed intentions with Business degree/ what you intend to do once degree is received, and how you think this scholarship will help you achieve this goal.
- Résumé
An interview may be required based on the number of applicants
** Scholarship Application deadline is April 15. **
Scholarships will be awarded by May 1.
** It is the responsibility of the applicant to make sure all necessary requirements are met and that all paperwork is submitted at the same time by the deadline date.
